Qatar to face Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay in 2019 Copa America tournament
The Qatar national football team, which is flying high at the ongoing AFC Asian Cup, will next take part in the 2019 Copa America Tournament in Brazil.
The competition will kick off on June 14 and will go on until July 7.
Qatar has been drawn into a tough Group B, which also includes Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay. Hosts Brazil is in Group A, alongside Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru. Meanwhile, Group C consists of Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile and Asian giants Japan.

Japan and Qatar are guests at the tournament, which features all CONMEBOL nations.
The tournament offers crucial competition for Qatar who as World Cup hosts will not feature in the upcoming qualifying competition.
Brazil will open the tournament against Bolivia before Peru and Venezuela play each other in Group A, reported FIFA website.
Brazil, led by coach Tite, will come into the tournament looking to make amends on home soil for their World Cup 2014 humiliation when Germany thrashed them 7-1 in the semifinals.
Qatar drawn with Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay in Copa America. It’ll be a great opportunity for Al Annabis to show their mettle at a more competitive level.
The hosts, who will have observed with concern a foot injury suffered by star player Neymar for his club Paris Saint-Germain, haven’t won the Copa America since 2007 and last time out failed to even progress to the knock-out stages, according to the Times of Malta.
The Copa America final will be played at Rio’s iconic Maracana stadium on July 7.
