Qatar flatly denies fresh UAE accusations about airspace violations
Qatar has categorically denied the United Arab Emirate’s accusations of intercepting two UAE passenger flights, the third such incident over airspace since the blockade on Doha began last summer, reported Al Jazeera.
The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority had said on Monday that two Qatari fighter jets had ‘dangerously approached’ two UAE-registered commercial aircrafts while flying over Bahraini airspace, and called it a ‘flagrant and serious threat to civil aviation and air navigation safety.’
According to UAE state agency WAM, one of the aircrafts was forced to ‘do an emergency manoeuver to avoid colliding with the Qatari jets.’
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) pointed out that civil aviation affairs in Bahrain have continued to ignore the notifications of Qatar regarding the aircraft that are not subject to the Chicago Convention and which are constantly breaching Qatari airspace, reported Gulf Times.
“As the QCAA is surprised by the issuance of such a statement, it at the same time, confirms the State of Qatar’s commitment to the highest international aviation quality and safety standards,” it said.
QCAA further said that the Emirati statement was an attempt to cover up the UAE’s multiple breaches of Qatari airspace, according to The Peninsula.

Not a single eye witness account, photograph, or report saying what supposedly happened. If your plane took 'emergency procedures' to avoid a collision you would know about it as a passenger.
Where are these witnesses? My bet is they don't exist as the events never happened.
