Qatar Petroleum reveals hiked fuel rates for April 2019
Fuel prices in Qatar will witness yet another increase, as Qatar Petroleum (QP) has announced new prices for gasoline and diesel for April 2019.
Following the upward trend adopted in the month of March, the fuel prices in April will also see an upward climb with the price of super and premium petrol jumping up 25 dirhams and the price of diesel moving up by 10 dirhams.
An announcement on QP’s website earlier today confirms the new fuel prices.
According to the new prices, premium grade petrol will cost QR1.80 in April, rising from QR1.55/liter at present.
Super gasoline will cost QR1.85/liter from next month, going up from QR1.60 currently.
The new price of diesel for April will be QR1.90/liter instead of QR1.85 now.
When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was at QR1.20/liter, super at QR1.30/liter and diesel at QR1.40/liter, according to The Peninsula.
From April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had started pegging the fuel prices to the international market.

@Alex, In Europe public transport, is easily assessable and the weather is not that bad to bicycle or walk. they give you from money they make on Patrol other benefits (not saying Qatar does not) but just saying the comparison is wrong in my opinion.

That's correct, Alex, and a pack of cigarettes is between 6 to 10 Euro, or 24 to 40 Riyals.
In Europe the average price is the equivalent of 6 Qar per litre. Or 1,50 Euros per litre.
It was only a matter of time any way.
