Qatari Customs seizes 7kg of drugs at the Hamad International Airport

Alert customs officers at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (HIA) are continuing to foil attempts to smuggle illegal drugs into the country.

Yesterday, customs officials seized 7kg of hashish from an Asian passenger, who was carrying the drugs stashed inside secret pockets of his bag, reported The Peninsula.

According to the customs officers, the bag was well designed to hide the drugs in such a way that it looked like a part of the bag design, reported Xinhua.
