Qatar’s Abdelaziz and Barrow win gold medals at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games
Two Qatari youth athletes raised their country’s flag to the highest levels when they each won gold medals at the ongoinh 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Bueons Aires, Argentina.
While Mohamed Abdelaziz was triumphant in the boys’ 200M race, Owaab Barrow emerged as triumphant in the 110M hurdles, reported Gulf Times.
Both athletes were leading after the first stage of competition. Yesterday, they topped the stage two competitionds as well to clinch gold medals.

Abdelaziz’s combined time after two races was 41.78sec, ahead of Jamaica’s Antonio Watson (42.41) and Brazil’s Lucas Vilar Conceicao (42.61).

Meanwhile, Barrow topped the timesheet in 26.50sec. France’s Kenny Fletcher took silver while bronze went to Hong Kong’s Lok Hei Addis Wong.
