Al Rawnaq announced on their social media platform that French products will be withdrawn from all its branches.
Similarly, Qatar Shopping Complex in Al Markhiya and Souq Al Baladi in Abu Hamour made the announcement on their social media platforms.

goodlittleboy, as usual, you did not read properly what I wrote. 30 items are ON ORDER!
The defense items were purchased prior to Emmanuel Macron losing his power of proper thinking. If French products get boycotted at the lower level such as consumer products, they will hurt their industry. When the Danish cartoonist published caricatures of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on 30 September 2005, Danish products were banned by several Muslim countries. The Danes cried.
Behind the curtains, all Emmanuel Macron is aiming at is to win the next elections. What could be a better way to gather votes than to insult and hurt Muslims. It has now become a time-tested formula to win over votes in many countries. Take India for example where the current ruling party is rabidly anti-Muslim.
The Qatari Airforce have 55 French Combat aircraft, tanker, helicopter, trainer aircraft
in service, and 30 on order. That doesn’t look like a boycott of French products.
Not only supermarkets, all other industries should boycott french products. Specially the construction industry must avoid the french origin of materials.
@ daniel ur so innocent that u dont know why Islam is targeted
islamophobia - there r many like u out there who have no idea about what islam is another note blind follower of media n sit here ideal n blah blah. do something better study all the religions and when your study is complete then you come back here to discuss why other religions are not targeted as already u will b having the answer
Daniel: I have gone through the URL you had sent in your post.
I do not wish to comment on it as it will hurt you much. That is not my aim.
Daniel: Its a "cause and effect" situation. You don't want to talk about the "cause" and cover up the "cause" protecting it with laws such as "freedom of speech." And when you get to see the result of insulting, you feel hurt and believe something terrible has taken place. You are not ready to accept the consequences. In the real world, and when it comes to matters of religion, there are many who are not willing to "turn the other cheek".
My queries are: Why instigate in the first place? Why is it that just Islam is being targeted and no other religion? Did such incidents exist say 50 years back? It is the same world, isn't it?
I suggest anybody who goes to Carrefour should be shot on the spot.
We should respect all religions. It is wrong to insult any religion. Kindly raise your voice about what is happening in China's Xinjiang. Thousands of Xinjiang mosques are destroyed or damaged. Chinese authorities have built a public toilet on the site of a demolished mosque. Even Muslim-majority countries have turned a blind eye.
goodlittleboy, and, of course, you forgot to mention that Muslims killed 17 people at Charlie Hebdo. I guess, you will also kill if somebody has a different opinion or belief.
goodlittleboy, maybe you should check this Url to see how morally advanced people in a Muslim country like Qatar are. (https://escortdoha.info/)
This trend of insulting Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) got a kick off with the publication of 12 editorial cartoons by the Danish newspaper on 30 September 2005. The publication led to massive protests all over the Muslim world and bans placed on Danish products. The Danes felt the economic pinch. The Danish Prime Minister then defended the publications as "freedom of speech". Next to follow in line was the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo which in 2015 jumped on the bandwagon to publish another set of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), leading to terrible consequences. And now this French history and geography “teacher” Samuel Paty uses the caricatures of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) to "explain" to his students what "freedom of speech" really meant.
Acts of this nature that have begun since the beginning of this century have targeted just Islam and the Muslims. One does not get to see caricatures of Buddha or of the many Gods and Goddesses of the Hindu religion or of Moses for that matter. Many questions come soaring up into the mind. Are these people in the west afraid of playing with the feelings of people from other religions besides Islam? Does the rule of "freedom of speech" allow for the freedom to insult especially when it comes to religion? Why do the so-called educated broad-minded rulers of the west and their parliaments not put down their feet and put an end to such acts drawing a line between "freedom of speech" and “freedom to insult?” Surely, this one single act would put an end to fanning of hatred in many situations and not just against Muslims. But then by doing so, they will be unable to use the religious whip of branding Muslims as terrorists at the slightest opportunity and fanning feelings of hatred.
While those in the west consider themselves to be from the "advanced" world, they still lack the understandings of the basics of human nature and behaviour. If humans are given unlimited freedom, this freedom is bound to be misused. That is why laws are made and enforced. People from the less developed countries stand far better in this respect. They never go about insulting the feelings of others especially through religion. This "teacher" Samuel Paty could have used hundreds of other examples to demonstrate the benefits of "freedom of speech". He could have used this "freedom" to criticize the Pope and his actions, or to describe the beauty of French President's wife providing a detail account of her shape and contours, or discuss the decay of western culture where women run around semi nude or even nude on their beaches.
If people in the west want peace to return to the world, they need to put their house in order on an urgent basis. Otherwise, the bigots in the west will continue to instigate, and the bigots from other areas of the world will continue to retaliate.
The hatred will then continue unabated.
@Daniel now they should take your permission to as what should be stopped or not ?
And the QDC should not sell French wine, champagne or cognac anymore!! And nobody should eat Camembert, baguettes and croissants!! And Qatar Airways should stop flying to Paris, Nice and Marseille. Then I believe that Muslims are united.
The government should also stop buying Mirage fighter jets. Shouldn't they?
very good
all the shopping center should do
Same should towards against China too
Very good decision, all the Muslim should do same.
