Stash of expired goods found in a Pearl-Qatar restaurant, reveals ministry
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (Baladiya) discovered a huge quantity of expired products stashed away in a restaurant at the Pearl-Qatar.
The ministry tweeted about it in its official account as follows, and also specified that 350 kg of expired goods were seized from the secret warehouse in the restaurant during the investigation.

“The expired food items were stored in difficult to access places inside the restaurant and was used in the preparation of meals and drinks for customers”, says The Peninsula.
The seized items include flavorings, concentrates, juices, salad dressings, meat dressings, mix of blue cheese sauce etc.
Once the violation was detected, the security authorities were made aware of it and the restaurant and its manager were charged for the offence.
While the name of the restaurant hasn’t been disclosed yet, the case has been sent to the public prosecutor for further action.
This isn’t the first time that the elite-section of Doha, Pearl-Qatar, has been in the headlines for violating ministry rules.
Last year, the four star restaurant Orient-Pearl was partially shut down for two weeks when a video of stray cats roaming around and eating from the restaurant’s kitchen began circulating social media.

If that's the case , then it's truly bad reporting to leave out the key aspect of this news item

As long as nobody dies from food poisoning, it's okay. And when somebody dies it's his fault, because nobody forced him to eat in the Pearl!
Yeah, but Qatar is in the Wild East!
Any how Baldiya showing their respect to this restaurant by not naming it, If this happen in US / Europe Baladiya will be liable
Pearl - Qatar. 5-star residence. 'Elite Section of Doha'. Expired food. Ha, ha, ha. A real good advertisement for this place!
"This isn’t the first time that the elite-section of Doha, Pearl-Qatar, has been in the headlines for violating ministry rules."
They should reduce the rents drastically now. Maybe to a level of 'refugee camp'.
