UK visa waiver for Qatari passport holders
Starting from January 1st, Qatari citizens can visit the UK with an Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) document, allowing them to travel to the UK for up to 6 months without a visa.
Unlike a regular visa, an EVW is free of charge, faster to obtain, does not require biometrics, and applicants do not need to go to application centers and hand in their passports.
Travellers will only need to complete their EVW online at least 48 hours before departure and present a printed copy on departure and again on arrival in the UK.

xiboan_9339, No this is only for Qatari nationals not for other nationailities holding residence permit, they will still need to go through the application centers!
Whiterosecountry, I second that. Now Qatar shoudl allow British Nationals the same length of Visit 6 months free of charge (abolishing the QR100 fee) and also allow males over the age of 19 on family visit to exit without exit permit.
So in reciprocation will the Qatari now grant easy entry and exit to Qatar? Keith Vaz should hang his head in shame.
What about for the residence permit(RP) people.
There should not be any borders ..... as before .....
