Villaggio blaze trial adjourned
The Court of Appeals on Monday ordered cancellation of fine imposed on the director of Al Rayan Municipality and adjourned the hearing to October 27.
A lower criminal court last year had found five accused responsible for the death of 19 people in the blaze and ordered them to serve up to six years in jail.
The hearing has been postponed following requests from defence lawyers who sought more time to cross-examine witnesses.

@Sense Mine, I totally agree with you. it is indeed death penalty without thinking.
If the accused is from any asian country for sure the sentence will be death penalty...very quick!
No surprises there. No one here will ever man up and take responsibility for their actions that cause harm to others. We all knew this would be the outcome.
@Fire777 - Yes, it is indeed stupid. These people do not realize the pain that the parents are going through. It is not justice.
