can any body say how to get banking jobs in qatar.i have done MBA finance and having experience.I am trying job since 6months but it is hard to get.

I want to know how to apply for banking jobs.

Sorry to say this but i got offer from one of the leading bank in doha i submitted all my docs 8 months back still labour department has not approved it is pending....hopes everyone got answer...but if u dont have any other option u can go for it...best of luck to all

The company will apply for your visa. You'll sign the final contract once you're here.

what should be the different steps of the hiring process after one gets the offer letter?? anybody has an idea. when they should make you sign the final contract?

CBQ won't be wasting their time interviewing canditates and laying an offer letter if your brother isn't not qualified...what hinders his application is the approval of giving a visa from the labor department... Qatar goverment mandated most big and local companies here qatar the qatarization program...companies should not exceed their qouta for expat employees...I heard CBQ is giving the highest compensation package among the other banks..

how is the salary package in CBQ for a customer service exe.

Also can anine tell me wat the qualifications are to get thru ...

Thanks for all comments ... Yes BC you are right they did all very fast ... Within one week First Interview , then another week for other interview and third week they gave my brother offer letter so it was very fast but after offer letter he has been waiting more than one month but no reply ..... so BC i am agree with you till offer letter but after that i do not know ... :)

it's quite stressing period for me thus i m facing the same problem of joining CBQ and my docs still pending with labour departement ,you said that it's taking time but can you tell me how long it will take, i m waiting since one week for the labour departement...

so should i be prepared for longer time??

CBQ do not play with peoples lives in that manner. presently most banks are facing it hard to recruit people. Once the offer is accepted, CBQ would submit the papers to labour department, presently there is an extremely long delay in get the approval from labour department, that is why it is taking time.

I am joining CBQ in 3 weeks, and have found them to be very easy to deal with and very accomodating!

I received my offer letter quickly, and all processes have been farily efficient since then! Not sure if this helps, but hopefully your brother will join as the bank seem to be doing very well, and are growing at a fast pace, which should be quite exciting!

CBQ or any other bank for that matter issue offer letters and roll them back incase you join any other employer.The visa is the reason.So be very careful in deciding this. CBQ is not known to be playing with careers of candidates as you have mentioned above.I suggest that if you doubts like this,you can recommend your brother to join the new employer if all career matters are considered.
