I find it a bit worrying that you don't know about the NHA exam and are not sure whether to go into secretarial work or nursing..

My advice would be to go for secreterial.. :o)

just done reading the link you shared. the thread there re: buss. visit visa was very debatable. i felt a lil bit hazy. very informative. still have a lot of things to know.

a candidate for offloading! Sorry to discourage you but unless your visit visa is applied by a relative legally, then I would suggest you think many times before going here!

Also if you get hired by a private hospital/clinic they might be able to help you and even pay for you to take the exam. Good luck

As Carlo said what kind of visa do you have? A visit visa for a month might not be enough, better to get a Buisness visa for 3 months which should be enough for you to find a job.

I think you have to take first training in a government hospital here like basic life support because its a requirements here after that just present your school diploma and liscence and i think it will eat a lot of time on your part as you said your holding a business visa and you have a limited time and just click this link regarding business visa holders so that you know what to do if your coming here to doha hope it helps. http://www.qatarliving.com/node/1600731

how to take that NHA? how much does it cost? does it have a website? i do have a business visit visa issued April. it depends to nationality? im a filipina nurse. and oh, is there any notifications here in Qling? for me to have a faster access if someone replies to my inquiries?? just like in facebook? thankyou.

Milky_barkid is right is not that easy to work as a nurse here in qatar you have to take an NHA (National health authority) exam if im not mistaken for you to able to work here in doha there are qualifications for you to qualified to take an exam like you must have at least minimum 2-3 years hospital experience and one thing its difficult to find available working visa for female it depends to nationality. can i ask what kind of visit visa do you have is it business visa?

If you are Registered Nurse, you will still need to take exam here before you are allowed to work!

yes it is less chance to find a job in short period of time, one month might not be enough for you. if possible postpone your flight.

otherwise, take the challenge and the possible consequences.

most of the big heads "Managers" are flying away in Ramadan

yes Ramadan will be in Aug. this year .. it's better to postpone ur flight ..

September and October is a better time as all employees including decision makers are coming back at that time for the school of their kids ..

Don't land in june u will be wasting ur time

June and July is summer Holiday, everybody will be away ..

If you landed 1st week of june you still have time to look for a job and if ramadan comes still you didnt find a job dont worry because hiring still the same but they have limited working hours and its difficult to process visa because goverment have long vacation. Goodluck
