Hi Everyone,

I have just arrived in Doha and just like everyone else am looking for opportunities over here.

How did you look for your job over here?
Can you recommend any websites to check out, any recruitment sites or agencies?

Thank you so much! :)

Gulf Times and QL are more than enough, if not, then google 'jobs in qatar'. You wouldn't really need an agency here to find a job for you. And besides, there's no such agency, except for manpower. All you need are backers and NATIONALITY, yes, NATIONALITY.

why all threads today are giving me the impression that I'm stupid?

If u may execuse my ignorance; what's "Creative" industry; is it advertising, pottery, artisitic finishings aren't all these creative in a way; or is it an expression I'm not aware of?!

i advise you to beware of 'someones' in Ql, all are buggers!

Yes, basically there are no good agencies at all in Qatar.

By KHATTAK• 14 Dec 2010 14:09

First Step: Look for "Someone" (before looking for job).

Second Step: Give him/her your resume.

Third Step: Go for the Interview.

Its mostly, "who you know" rather than "what you know".

By silverfina• 14 Dec 2010 14:08

so basically there are no really good recruitment agencies out there to help with this.

I am in the creative industries (so not oil and gas and construction) which makes things even harder...
