Missing out on anything?

Twice or thrice everyday, I've been noticing about people posting about their job offers. Just wondering, with over 3yrs of experience and being a post-grad have I been missing out on anything? How are these guys being placed? I've been trying for the past 2 yrs now and haven't been lucky at all. Are these overseas placements or onshore?

I assume my work-ex & qualification are quite decent enough, and I ve tried everything; from gulf-times to visiting companies to online applications. Just so tired of it. :(

Enlighten me!

Thank you all for your comments.

I feel a little better now.. So far, I was so morose and offended.

Hoping for the best!

You try your best and put your trust in God. Even if you have bunch of qualifications and experience, you may still earn little compared to those who are less qualified and experienced than you.

There aren't that many IT jobs in Qatar. Most companies use pirate software and run basic IT systems.

maybe you should start looking on a different direction :)

If you cannot get a job based on your proffesion, then maybe you should try to apply on a different category. :)

IT works in Qatar is not that in demand especially for women!

In the end it all comes down to 2 things

1-your passport category

2-who you know

Anything beyond that is just bullox

Guys please stop being so negative. If I am not wrong sachi is from an IT Background. For people from her background finding jobs here is always difficult coz IT in Qatar means only Networking and Hardware.

I'am sure she can find something if she focuses her efforts through proper channels such as Clarendon Parker or Michael Page.
