Qatarisation affecting job opportunities

I want to settle down in Doha with my husband and hence looking out for a job. I have 7 years experience in banking and finding it extremely difficult to get a decent job. Have tried calling banks and posting my resume however most of them are recruiting locals leaving no opportunity for people like us.Can some one please help me?

They have a point. It would be best to change your perpective on that because the locals should always have first dibs on jobs. This is their country afterall.

Anyway, goodluck on your search. I'll be in your shoes in a few more months.

This is not Qatarisation. What you mentioned is normal in most countries outside Qatar as well.

Friendly advice, you need to network a little bit and you will be more successful.

Good Luck!
