What's the best way to find a job in Qatar?

Hi.

I work in Dubai as Assistant Manager in the Chairman's Office of a huge business group since 1997. I am seriously thinking of relocating to Qatar. (Am Indian single male; 38 years old).

What would be the best way to find a job in Qatar? I know the ways to find a new job in UAE. But wish to get info on Qatar job avenues.

Are there any newspapers like our Gulf News here? Or any consultants such as Clarendon Parker?

Thanks.

Hello guys,The days are gone when you can think of getting good job in gulf countries.Now-a-days,you may not even get a call/mail for interview from the recruiter as your resume is rejected by some smart and cunning guys in the same organistion even if you have the relevant certifications and experience. The companies will post the jobs on their websites just as a formality but finally these jobs will be filled with less competent guys who are the relatives/friends of those cunning guys in the same organistion. This is true in the case of companies like Qatar Petroleum etc.For example,SAP recruitment process in QP now is 100 percent illegal as many qualified guys

are not considered even for the initial phase of interview so as to reserve the posts for the lucky relatives/friends of those cunning guys in QP.So stop dreaming now.
