just to let you know there are no lovely parks that allow walking with dogs.
you are not allowed to walk on the corniche. you are not allowed to walk around aspire anymore. and it is miserable just walking round the outside of the compounds around building debris and dodging the cars...
the only relief is a good hours drive on the beaches but even then you have to make sure the dog does not cut his foot on all the glass on the beach. the locals do not like dogs and you are treated accordingly.
the vet costs are extortionate also.
however i could not be without my maltese that i adopted last year....mans best friend

Only Al Emadi Villas and Apartments dont allow pets rest all are fine.
Well, no, not all villas. You'd have to check with your villa/employer about a pets policy.
It's ok to have pets with you in a villa, but not in flats or apartments.
