:o( I'm doing this against my will
Hi,
I have to sell my cat because we are having a new baby in the family and mom thinks that the cat has to go..
She is Suki..She is 15 monthes old.. she got all her shots and she has her card.. She is the prettiest persian u ever laid eyes on .. White coat, chocolate brown ears and a faint brown spot on her back and the tail, and grey blue eyes.. She is house trained she is sooo clean.. she takes her bath well ( hates the hair dryer though) She is so gentel with kids, likes lazying aorund the house and laying in our laps .. she loves it when ppl brush her hair and ADORES stroking .. she is so quiet..
We want her to go to a house where she is loved and looked after .. Please take care of her ..
Plz contact me if u r intersted [email protected]
I agree with FatCat.
I've had three kids in a houshold with two cats. If you have carpets, it certainly requires more vacuuming but other than that, kids love my cats!
Hi
my grandmother was told the same thing when she had my mother - also by her in-laws - babies and cats do not mix.
She decided not to get rid of the cat, and in fact the cat used to stand guard by my mother in her pram outside their house, if my grandmother went into the house for a moment (you may say irresponsible of my grandmother, but you could do that then).
Also about the allergies, if they grow up with animals, children tend to be less allergic, because they get use to it.
When I came here to Qatar my brother decided to have my very old cat - she is 15 years old. If he came to my house he always sneezed because of the cat. After 2 weeks at my brothers house his allergic reaction stopped because he had got used to her.
In fact, his children love my old cat so much, apparently she brightens their day.
Just a thought, before you get rid of your cat.
As someone in the UK once said, a house is not a home without a cat.
i wud luv 2 hav tat cat as my pet coz i jus adore cats but even i hav a 1o mnth old baby n even my inlaws (i stay wiz dem)thnk dey shudn't hav a cat in house.i am sorry i can't bring it 2 my home.......but i wud lik 2 tel u 1 thing .i hav read sumwer tat cats hair wud mak sum children asthmatic.i hav no idea how far its true...
Does it look as good as the Fat cat?
Perhaps adding a picture would help. She sounds lovely. Good luck.
Cats are not harmful to babies. " Exposure to animals early on helps children to respect them and may even improve the immune system".
