I want to buy/adopt a small puppy (no specific breed), but have NO clues. Please any places other than QAWS & few pet shops because i checked them already.
actually the father of the girl asked me to help him in hunting... & according to him, she is capable enough & the whole family is ready to welcome a new member too... apprecaite all the feedback
QAWS has puppies for adoption (not yet on the website) from the age of 8 weeks. I would urge anyone considering a puppy younger than 6/8 weeks to think again - they should still be with the mother!
I assume you have discussed this gift with the childs parents and that they are fully aware of the on-going costs a 'gift' like this will incur, food, medical etc...This gift could be around for 18 years or so.
Please consider all the factors before giving a gift such as this.

they are older than what i am looking for.. actaully the puppy will be a gift for a 10 years old girl...
i have done this thrice.. I suggest you check on supermarkets like Family Food and Mega Mart. They normally have it posted on their bulletin boards.
