Chedi Katara Hotel & Resorts
GHM has announced plans to open a new luxury resort at the Katara Cultural Village. Developed by the Qatari real estate consortium, Triple A, in partnership with Katara Cultural Village, the Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort, Doha, will occupy a beachfront setting within the landmark 100-hectare district. The area includes theaters, concert halls, exhibition galleries, mosques, restaurants, shops, a park, and an open amphitheater.
With a design that pays homage to the glories of Indian Mughal Architecture and a touch of Ottoman influence, the new Chedi’s principal hotel building will house a lobby lounge with 180° views of the sea, an expansive spa, fitness facility, and rooms and suites with terraces and views over the Arabian Gulf and Doha skyline. The 32 villas dotting the extensive landscaped gardens in the Katara Hills range from one to five bedrooms, all with private gardens and swimming pools, offering privacy, luxury, and tranquility in the heart of the city.
On the beachfront promenade, a long swimming pool accents the principal resort building while a second infinity pool offers a relaxing environment for families to enjoy a wide variety of snacks and fresh juices at the stand-alone Beach Club. The resort is expected to open in the second half of 2022, ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Katara Hills LXR Hotels
Katara Cultural Village Foundation and Estithmar Holding launched the project, named Katara Hills LXR Hotels and Resorts. The LXR Hotels & Resorts are found in the world’s most alluring locations, immersing visitors in truly profound travel experiences. In Qatar, Katara Hills are surely a befitting location for a hotel and resort like this that will blend in the beautiful landscapes of Katara with modern architecture. The Katara Hills LXR Hotels & Resorts project includes 15 luxury villas, each with a private pool, in a special place above the Katara Hills to give it distinctive and enchanting views of the green nature and Katara Beach.
Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha
Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha will be a luxury beach resort where guests will revel in panoramic views of the azure waters of the Arabian sea and Doha's iconic shimmering skyline. Located near Hamad International Airport and Doha's popular tourist and entertainment destinations, the hotel is easily accessible. The new Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha is a grand refurbishment of a historic building that first opened in 1973 as the 'Gulf Hotel'. The venture by Rixos Hotels, in partnership with Accor and Katara Hospitality, will consist of 378 rooms and suites and seven dining outlets, blending comfort, style, and cutting-edge technology.
Rixos Beach Resort
Set to open in 2022, the Rixos Beach resort in Qetaifan Island North will be ready to welcome business, leisure, and family guests into the luxurious property. The group is partnering with Qetaifan Projects Company, a 100% owned subsidiary of Katara Hospitality to manage the luxury resort environment shaped by the historical, natural, and cultural influences of Qatar.
Rixos Doha Qetaifan will feature a 345-key hotel including a souq of 11,000 sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
Fairmont Hotel and Raffles Hotel & Residences - Katara towers
Scheduled to open in 2022, Katara Towers aim to be the “hospitality icon of the 21st Century”. Katara Hospitality announced a new partnership with Accor with the two-fold signing of Raffles and Fairmont hotels & residences in Qatar. Once completed, the Fairmont Hotel and Raffles Hotel & Residences will join the brand’s worldwide portfolio, known to be the world’s largest collection of historic and iconic hotels. The arched towers will host a luxurious five-star hotel with 361 rooms and suites to cater to discerning business travelers, a lavish six-star hotel with 132 suites to meet the needs of those seeking sophisticated luxury accommodation and 49 branded apartments to become home to permanent residents.
The Palace
Estithmar Holding has unveiled a new luxury urban resort in Aspire Zone, set to add to the luxury hospitality offerings in Qatar by the end of 2022. The new project extends over more than 37,000 square meters at Aspire Zone as a world-class tourist-oriented family hotel and resort that offers an unparalleled level of luxury hospitality experience.
A world-class club and spa steeped in rich Arabian heritage and unmatched luxury, located in Aspire Zone, and operated by Hilton LXR. Visitors can enjoy the world-class amenities, including a wellness center and SPA, an outdoor swimming pool, fine dining, as well as a tennis court and a paddle court, a kids' play area, and a shisha lounge.
The resort consists of 33 villas, each featuring a private pool and a private garden, divided into 20 luxurious suites and 13 two-bedroom villas that offer the highest levels of privacy and security enhanced by the latest outstanding facilities.
The Outpost Al Barari
The Outpost Al Barari in Qatar is where luxury immerses with nature and disconnects from the hectic city life. The beautiful resort will be situated in the famous Inland Sea natural reserve, to the south of Qatar. Dream Doha Hotel
Launching its first official flagship property in the Gulf, Dream Doha Hotel is a renowned brand stemming from Dream Hotel Group LLC. Promising an uptown look with a downtown vibe, the hotel is an 8-story tower at Old Airport Road.

The St Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl Qatar
Lavishly spreading over an entire island, the St Regis Marsa Arabia is set to open in October where travelers can book themselves for unmatched island views within the city.

Waldorf Astoria Lusail, Doha
The Waldorf Astoria Lusail hotel is set to open its door in November. The five-star property has a private beach with dynamic views of the Arabian Gulf. Hosting 429 villas, rooms, and suites designed to accommodate guests, the luxury hotel also has resort-style amenities such as family-friendly and separate adults-only pools. Guests will be able to enjoy on-site water parks with kids and teenagers club also available on the property
The hotel will have an Espa Life spa, and also a space to allow private events, including a grand ballroom. Their restaurants include the sleek Bywater brasserie, inspired by the historical French Quarter in New Orleans; Wyld Erth, which will serve wholesome organic dishes and Doha’s first SushiSamba, which will also be home to the restaurant's first ever beach club.
Element West Bay Doha
Element West Bay Doha by Marriott is set to welcome guests starting in November. The Westin-owned property has initiatives designed specifically to give guests a sense of balance between leisure and work. Guests who are looking for a longer stay can check in here, as it is designed to efficiently use private and public areas, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Guests can enjoy a complimentary nutritious breakfast and check out other food and beverage outlets including ShikiMiki, the all-day dining restaurant. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, an outdoor pool, and an in-house spa that offers locally-inspired treatments.
Al Samriya, Autograph Collection Hotel
Anyone looking for a place inspired by Qatari culture can check in at Al Samriya, Autograph Collection Hotel. Located 20 km from Doha in the Shahaniya area, the luxury resort is set inside the grounds of a local farm. Using local materials and traditional masonry techniques, the resort hosts over 60 rooms and 27 villas. There is also an outdoor pool, a spa, a fitness suite, and a Lebanese restaurant on the property.
The hotel is situated a few minutes away from Al Samriya equestrian center, where guests are welcome to see Arabian horses or even take riding lessons.
