It's a book called 'Anybody Out There' by Marian Keyes. I think you will see Herne mention it in the Qatarliving Book Group.

And NO, despite the title it isn't about aliens! lol

That's just very coincidental to our conversation on this thread.

But we are deviating from this topic. :/

I came across it in a novel I was just reading and it was only mentioned in passing, but that was what brought it to my attention, so I googled it.

I'd often wondered what that saying meant - I think I now understand! :D

But, of course, in this case it wasn't meant that way.

I was wondering when one of our Egyptian friends would sit up and take notice of my little curio :P

I happened to find that site when everyone was going on about stuff like 'US faked the moon landing', 'Elvis is alive and working in McDonald's' etc etc, and was just waiting for the opportunity to slip it in somewhere!

hehehehe

nice joke about the aliens bulding the pyramids..

did they build the tempeles of luxor and aswan 2, that constiture 2/3of the world's archeology??!!

mmmmm

did they happen to teach the ancient egyptians how to mine for gold and brass and iron, and have accurate astrology maps and resportedlly sail all the way to mexico?

did the also tell the ancient egyptians when the nile's tide was coming and organise the most sophisticated agricultural system of the old age?

did they also explain to egyptians religion and spirituality ???

I guees the ancient egyptians owe a lot to the aliens..

also , did the aliens help the chinease out with the wall of china and the greeks with the acroplois , and the romans with the colicium??

or was it just the egyptians that the aliens liked enough to help out with the 3 pyramids??

and how about the other 2000+ smaller pyramids in egypt?

were these a rough draft by the ppl of the lost atlantis for the big 3?

mmmmmm

quite intresting

I laughed so hard about the cheeseburger comment. Since my husband and I are in the US right now, I have come home multiple times from work ready to make dinner only to find he is not hungry. Why?? He sneaks McDonalds cheeseburgers throughout the day :P He's not that good at hiding it though, I always find the crumbs all over him, that naughty boy :D And the worst part, he didn't save any for me!
