Through five years of war, a team of 100 Reuters correspondents, photographers, cameramen and support staff have strived to deliver news to the world from Iraq - the most dangerous country for the press. These are their personal stories, bearing witness through half a decade of conflict which has taken the lives of 127 journalists, including seven Reuters staff.

i really admire these reporters.  they risk their lives to show the world what is happening.  their work serves a noble purpose... i just wish more people paid attention to it....

PM, could you cite some examples of white house conrol on the media after 9/11?  im really not sure what you mean by that

Objective reporting went out of the window after Vietnam. Now most reporters are "embedded" with the troops and their stories censored by the authorities. In addition, the USA has imposed a ban on covering the arrival of dead soldiers' bodies on American soil. Another example of censorship.

PM just out of curiosity, when too many Americans are against what White House is doing, why did he get re-elected, and secondly, why his rating is still around 30%. I mean do really 30% insane (or innocent?) people believe in the  current foreign policies?

Sorry for being off-topic but always wondered this question.

there are two kinds of them isnt it?

one how reports what each side wants and gets paid for it. Go rot in hell to these guys.

The other who takes the risk to show the world the true facts of whats happening. Kudos to them.
