Filipinos are a class of people, who are well ahead in many fields, and with 77,000 visas, they are further set to bring in more fashion style and scretarial cultural to the working life of  Doha.

Before their arrival, the secretarial system in most of the private offices, hotels, restaurants, salons, super markets and construction sites etc was lagging behind many regional cities including Dubai, but now Doha can proudly be at par with them.

I just got the feeling that receptionist Jobs in most of the officers are not exactly reception Job. I used to visit many companies and most of the receptionist are engaged with lot of paper or computer work.

A reception means, she is there to welcome and guide the guests and visitors. They should be free of other works to do the job of courtesy. Due to the access amount of work loaded to them, I do not see many reception perform exactly the job of reception.

I have no blame for the employee, But I feel it’s the mistake of their manager not knowing the exact job description of a reception.

(I understand this post is about secretary, however I Just thought to mention this point as it’s seems to be a shortcoming in most of the officers)

When it comes to welcoming and extending help to the visitors, Pina has no match, though Indian secretaries are more docile and humble.

They are playing exactly the same role, what the Mexican ladies are playing in the USA, like adjusting themselves into any environment and condition.

Brit, how about the Egyptians.
