Did you note down the car number, take any photo of the accident scene? File a police complaint before he does.

You should post here that I made mistake, I m taking responsibility of that accident, I m searching him to confess it. If he will see your post here surely he will contact u.
Open a Police case then...what you think he's gonna do, call you up from here? U left the scene of an accident, in some cases thats a felony and you could go to jail. But then again, dont think he forgot to stop, hes avoiding you. Unfortunately you just couldnt catch up with him and he left you in the lurch simple as that.
ACTUALLY WE BOTH FORGOT TO TAKE EACH NUMBER WE WERE PROCEEDING TO TRAFFIC POLICE BUT I MISSED HIM
If you cannot trace him, then surely he is trying to avoid you ..
