Al Barzan and Al Nasser Compounds

I am moving over to Doha next month, and I have been given the options for villas in either the Al Nasser or Al Barzan compounds. Can anyone give me some input as to what these compounds are like, good/bad points for either. I also have a daughter that will be attending ASD, so I am wondering if either of these compounds is close to ASD.

Thanks.

I've only seen Alfardan from the website and the outside so I don't really know. Alfardan looks like it may have more amenities and is a bit fancier but it's like the best in Doha. I'll see if I can get some pictures from my friend.

If so, would you mind posting them on here?

Thank you.

Thanks for the info...I have been to the Al Fardan Garden compound and it was beautiful. Do you know how Al Barzan compares?

Al Barzan 2 is great! I have a friend who lives in there and it's very nice. Nice garden area behind each villa and great pool. From what my friend says, she'll ask the guys to come fix something and that afternoon they're there. It's 50 villas, 25 for Mersk people and 25 other and the place is pretty empty. I'm currently trying to get husband's employer to move us over there...It's not right by the American School but it's on a back road that lead straight to the school. I can't imagine it's that bad of a commute. There's really only one roundabout that gets busy. Don't know about the other compound.
