Amnesia.....

Hi there everyone!

Many many thanks for this kind thread.

I really didn't expect it. It makes me feel warm inside.

I worked on the site originally because I had so many foreign friends ask me about it or they'd ask me questions like

"I heard that if a woman looks at a man, she's beheaded, is it true?"

"My friend told me that if I go to Qatar to visit, I have to become Muslim"

I felt so shocked and couldn't understand where they were getting these garbage facts from, so I decided to start the site.

I'm still busy with my move back to Qatar in two weeks, (selling my apartment, furniture, organizing shipping companies, and also working on polishing my thesis on the Environmental law of the UK compared to Qatar and it's affects, impact, and future) but in the mean time, I've tried my best to work on the site and give whatever information I thought would be usefull.

Of course it's nothing compared to Qatarliving.com, since there is a great community built here. I hope that one day we'll be able to integrate the two sites.

If anybody ever has ANY information, suggestions, or even wants to help with the site, please let me know!

I don't know if Amnesia is He or she... but I like to believe his profile..lol He always comes up with good suggestions, seen him giving tips to Qatari for improving QL.

Yes we do know and she is still developing it. The site has been offered to many people around the globe.

She is doing a wonderful job to promote Qatar in the limelight is should be in.
