Anyone Help Me With A Religion (Private Teacher)

Dear All,

Wow! QL seems to be a nice site with good people around. Thanks to everyone who has given me little idea on my previous posting “Which Religion To Choose?,Please Advice” and how to search and adopt a religion that is full of peace, love and a guidance to live a life given by our creator,God.Frankly,I never took religion seriously and thought religion has nothing to do in life,But I really feel sorry for my wrong thinking.I would like to share some personal experience of mine that is directly related to religion here.

Since,I was looking for a wife in Qatar for long time now,Specially a foreigner as I believe kids born out of two different nationals are unique and wonderful while they grow up.I started putting up ads in expatriates.com and Match.com.Very recently two different women contacted me through these sites and we had so many e-mail communication including exchange of pictures. When it came to issue of religion,One among them asked me to convert to her religion,If I am serious about marrying her.I flatly ignored her proposal and we finished our communication permanently. After I tried further to find a life partner from other websites,All of them ignored because of my nationality.

So,Now I really understand that religion plays a vital role in every human life and its time for me to choose a religion before settling down in life. Many proposals coming for Islam and Christianity. But I don’t know how and where I can get help.I don’t want my friends or community to know my religion conversion until I finish it as I may be isolated by them and my family,So I am keenly looking for some nice people who can teach me,help me feel the right religion in private.I want to spend my maximum time with a genuine religious teacher in a very private way until my conversion.

Do anyone here know any kind hearted private religious teachers in Qatar who can help me to learn a new religion?I don’t mind whether it is Christianity or Islam,All I need to learn a true religion, practice that in most humble way and help all my community members in the maximum way I can.Any good people around here,Please do mail me in private and guide.May God bless us all.

Recently I was involved with a man that was of total ethnicity than myself, different religion, different culture than what I had always known.  Because I am a free thinker in the ways of the world and know that everyone should have free choice, I decided that I would learn the person first.

I knew that he was not of the same religion as myself, but I never asked him to change or believe the way that I did.  I feel that my God loves everyone.  I never asked him to change where he lived, I accepted that if the relationship was to flourish that in the name of love I could change.  I never asked him to move to the US and leave his family behind, I was willing to move.

Everything that he asked I willingly considered as all of it was done in the name of love or so I thought. So it is hard for me to understand why these women were displeased with you and your religion.

What I am trying to say to you is why do you feel that you have to change religion?  What is wrong with the one that you have known all your life?  Is it for you to be accepted?  You don't even know what religion to look at, you are asking for help, but don't even know what you want to do.

Religion does play a big part in our daily lives, prayer and  faith. I know in my religion/sprituality that I would not have gotten through the last relationship faliure  without my faith and believe in a higher power.

So look deep within your heart and see why you really want to do this. To find a wife, which you have had no luck at, or to better understand faith and spirituality.

Wow u r in a religious mess aren't you? I don't think it's possible for a christian to marry a Muslim, it's just not possible, not unless one will transfer his/her religous life to be with the other, and for the sake of love.

It's very hard, you're getting yourself in a sandstorm that might go on forever..becareful..

Different peoples have different opinions about religion. Well what I think is, no matter from what country anyone is and what religion they believe in. Their heart are the same as other peoples heart all around the world. There's no difference as we all are created by god.

Love is the union of two bodies & one soul ; two souls & one flesh. So I don't think its necessary to change religion for what you belong. If she loves you, why is there a question of religion?

Though religions are different, god is one. And no god allow voilence & war.

Just one thing i'd ask you is, don't run after religions for people. Run after it because its the right thing to do. How to choose one? learn, search and most importantly, experience it! religion is not just about people. There's one important person involved when it comes to the subject of religion. Would've to revere it in that sense.
