My sister, I have high respect for you.

I consider you ,from your views as a very strong woman.

Forgive me if I am unreasonably hard in my approach.

It is a sin for me if I ever had any grudge against you from any aspect ..

I always wish you would come out with a fitting comment & I would be learning from you ..

Believe me .. no ill will .. I am sorry for all this too ..

Regards,

MM.

I do commiserate and understand your situation there quite clearly. Working in Recruitment at one of the most esteemed organizations in Qatar would indeed be stressful.

Applicants do tend to become more forceful and persistent, as they really want to work in a prestigious company. Especially certain nationalities which I will not mention here...

Right gentlelady, what makes you so angry?

t/coffee, you are not really using the word antagonized correctly, however, if you mean you are antagonizing me, then yes, you are and moreover I would suggest that does not make you a gentleman.

Would a lady get antagonized on a public forum!

Thanks Ryan

by that token Victory, should have planned time in my day for people to turn up randomly or not as the case may be - and for those who are fans of lean manufacturing and the just in time principles, that is the most chronic use of someone's time -'hey let us wait around to see who turns up' that is exceedingly bad planning and time wasting.

and past experiences teach us to plan for contingencies and act accordingly.

Have you all seen Mr. Felix jumped yesterday from Space to Earth, just imagine how much protections and precautions he must have planned!

MM - seeing as you replied with an absolutely bizarre and inappropriate analgy, I conclude that you have nothing useful to say.

As I said before, whatever I say, according to you is wrong, and we all know this and all it shows is your inbuilt set of prejudices, against women perhaps, or where I come from maybe, either way, you will feel alot better if you just stop being bitter.

I have seen some people carrying umbrellas with them when they get out of their homes .. in case it starts raining .. it will protect them ..

Victory, tell me how you can plan for something you don't know is going to happen? If you can do this, then the world is yours my friend.

MM - no, did not mention tools, they were not committed to continuous improvement to drive efficiency and they just let anyone wander into the department for a chat, even though we might have had other appointments scheduled, such as interviews, and for sure you would be the first to complain if I were late for an interview you were attending because I had to 'oblige' someone who dropped by on spec...

With you MM, one cannot win

I work at QF (Quality Fittings) in Doha Jadeed. We only have one person in HR. He can't be the one you met because he is really nice.

A bad workman always blames his tools .. but with optimum use of time & efficient execution of tasks one can improve ..

Used to work at QF in HR - inundated with people just dropping by without appointment (not QF people, just people wanting to hand you their Cv) and they would get offended if you said, sorry i have to go for a meeting, like you had all the time to sit and chat.

Also, used to get 300+ emails a day on top of all the unsolicited CV's we would get. so, think about that when you are moaning about no response.

And i used to have to do a tonne of unpaid overtime just to get through the work.

who think about tomorrow are the real talented intelligent managers not those lazy who drink their tea and make it difficult for the employees. who mostly are in Qatar.... they are not even qualified and I faced many :~)

Dear Ryan, as an Exp. HR person, I can say, no one can personally return all emails or calls when they have over 100 or more a day. could you?

that's why they say if you are not short-listed, they won't personally contact you, not enough time in the day to do so!

And, FYI, it is who ya know to get into QF, QP Etc hummm, do we know anyone? I sure would love to get working.....

Anyone listening? lol

Take Care, and be patient, have merci on the HR people, they have to do all the work, while their bosses drink TEA.
