Anyone see this little yellow Corvette and Karwa Staion Wagon?
I was grumpily driving myself home last night (its an age thing)when I approached the Ramada Junction. Cars were trying to change lanes and it looked like there was an accident ahead. When I got to the blockage, I saw that it wasn't an accident. Instead a Karwa station wagon had broken down. While I selfishly stayed in my huge air conditioned American automobile, a young Qatari guy jumped out of his yellow Corvette and attached a towrope to the Karwa wagon. He towed the wagon to the Ramada parking lot and then helped the Karwa driver to push start the wagon. I thought it was a very kind gesture and was momentarily ashamed of myself that it hadn't occurred to me to help. I then comforted myself by reminding myself that i didn't have a towrope. Anyone else see this?
Well always carry a Towrope with you. you might not be needing it but you do can help out some one specially on highways. doesnot weight too much neither cost alot. i already used 6 in dunes :( they took it no worries but safety is better.

Qataris on the whole are good people, the best in the Gulf.
Even the reckless Land Cruiser driver, get him on a one-on-one and he becomes sheepish.
Thanks, richard123.
