Aparna's -Brush & Canvas- Painting Exhibition
The word painting means a lot to Aparna. It’s a passion and affection for her which gives an utmost pleasure. She is a proficient artiste, specializing in historical structures and natural scenery using acrylic paints.
Paintings she has created include castles from Germany like the Neuschwanstein Castle, Trier Castle and a Louver from Paris, all of which were well appreciated by professionals and were sold immediately. She has started using her experience to canvas the Arabian deserts and its beauty which I feel has got its own charm.
Aparna’s vibrant canvases open up a window to the bygone era where the ramparts of architectural glory and a resplendent life style still stands ravages of time. Her vivid colors and brush strokes play bring a live charm of natural beauty. Aparna’s work is always been a collector’s delight.
Aparna has participated in many group shows in India, conducted art workshops in Germany, Abu Dhabi, USA and other activities in Doha like:
Set Designing at the "Wheels n Heels" show at Khalifa Stadium
Exhibiting paintings at Tasmeem Annual Design Conference at Virginia Commonwealth University’s, School of Arts at Qatar Foundation.
T shirt painting workshop at Carnegie Mellon University
She has been a resident of Qatar for around 3 years. She has started ingraining the habit of painting in small innocent children who I feel have the vibrant imagination of colors. She is conducting weekly workshops to teach them the techniques that she possesses. She likes to pass on the knowledge that has been gained in these many years as she believes that knowledge increases by sharing.
Now, all these young artists are ready with their masterpieces at this beautiful exhibition of their paintings. This experience would help them in canvassing the dreams of their life. It will give them confidence and your great appreciation would encourage them to enhance their creativity.
The activity is non profit oriented and is purely educational and an effort to encourage the young age group. We have two age groups (6-10 Yrs and 10-16 Yrs) comprising 65 students of local and various other nationalities learning Pencil Sketches, Portraits, Water/Poster/Acrylic Colors, Oil Pastels and Artistic Pens.
So today here she is presenting herself on another wide canvas with her work. Please do enjoy their work.
