hardly if no one dosn't start .And as i see people just talk and talk no one do it something good and useful for all of us. WE have a group in QL very powerful each fight or deferent opinion that someone say they will use big words and big names as :"if sheikh or sheikha " knows..... and in the cases that we need some informations to send to sheikh or shikha they will not even put small comment in!!!!
We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors; but they all have to learn to live in the same box.
you see people why i am asking to find out how we can make Cultural Center , we really need it, to make our own kids to spend time ,playing ,learning, dancing, making theater ,singing, karate.... I mean let someone " powerful" in this Loge help to find out some big "Vila" and to help us open an International Culture Center.i am sure that there is enough power and money in Qatar to offer some good Teachers or ether volunteers for some lessons .
How many talented kids ,seating in from TV and just spending time because there is nothing else to do???
I hope that i can take this suggestion to someone "decision maker" her in qatar (sheik or sheik-ha),and see what we can do .
People let us write one big nice letter in front all QL's members and send to Sheikha Moza ,maybe she can help us.
you can try to contact the lady i place the ad under my nick name its written in arabic but i will send you her number by PM .and in the same time she have kids so you my let them play together. call and ask
Regardless of the race card, I'm gonna put my daughter to an international school with as much quality Arabic learning as I can find. I heard Qatar Academy has dodgy Arabic language learning so I'm gonna skip that one.
We don't plan to spend that much time in Qatar but, nevertheless, Arabic is a world language that is becoming increasingly important. I see my daughter needing to learn it.
you are right, one should not blame the kids for their behaviour, its their upbringing that is to blame. But at the same time one can not let their kids get all complexed because of some rude arrogant kids... who r rude and arrogant because their parents taught them to be.
I am an Indian... My country is on the verge of becoming a super power, and do u think I will let my kids feel ashamed coz they are Indians. I am a very very proud Indian. I keep my resignation ready coz I will never take anything derogatory towards my race, culture, background and my ethnicity. I am sure everyone else feels the same way. For God's sake man we are the backbone of this country so we should stand straight and stand tall. This country calls us here and pays us coz it needs us. Racism can be seen everywhere in this country, from a mall to a road to a bill payment queue to everywhere. It becomes our duty to instill self respect in our kids.
This country follows Islam as the main religion. But what they are doing in itself is un Islamic. The holy Quraan is against racism and says, No white is better than a non white and No Arab is better than a non Arab except for his Taqwaa'

That's a very sad thing to say that KIDS are racist. It may be because they are not exposed to the different cultures in the way it should be.
So the Adults concerned should find ways to broaden their horizon and may sure that they are receptive to the different colours of the rainbow. If you want to blame anyone then the blame should go to us as ADULTS for being bad examples for our KIDS to follow.
Kids or Children should never be tagged with anything derogative to their basic nature for it’s the environment that we ADULTS portray to them that is reflected back at us.
Irony is that Arab kids are extremely racist. I wanted to put my kids in an Arabic school. I went to one of them withmy 3 yr old son. Spoke to the principal and was almost certain to put my son there, till the time I was getting out of the school and came across a few kids playing. They all started shouting 'Hada Hindiya' 'Hada Hindiya' (this is an Indian). The way they said, made me certain that my son will not be amongst them. A friend's wife is a teacher in an independent school. She keeps telling the stories of the kids there. One of them ( a fifth grader)slapped a Sri Lankan teacher coz she shouted at him. The kids fight coz some one called them a Sudani, or a Masri, or a Hindiya.
So my suggestion is refrain from letting your kids mingle with Arab kids.
To help my daughter learn Arabic, she's going to start at the Lebanese School in September 2008. That's an excellent way for them to learn Arabic. Even though my daughter is only 3, my wife is already looking for an Arabic tutor to "teach" her Arabic. But the playing option sounds ideal. I'll have to give it a shot.
i am sure ur daughter will learn to speak arabic perfectly and very soon if u will let her play with any arabic kid of her age 4 atleast one hour every day.
