jackmohan....don't get fooled by the huge number of items on the menu....they haven't mentioned how much quantity they'll serve.it might as well be just to taste....most probably wanting you to go home and have a proper meal :-P

Re Rasgullas...once a Bengali said Rasgullas are supposed to be rubber-like and you have to chew them and Gulab Jamuns are supposed to be soft.

same here,mate....i think jangri is way too sweet for my taste....i prefer the yellow jalebis....fresh and warm and crispy!yummyyyy!rasgullas are okies,but i don't exactly like the part where you have to squeeze out the excess sugar syrup with ur fingers when u have it (which is the actual way to have it,though :-) )besides jalebis,i like Kaju Katli! :-)

the hyderabadi resturants is closed from Akai and i think they have opened somewere far called " Maidher"...think tats the name of tat place...

i've tried rasgullas from Family Food Centre bakery section and from Maharaja's...they're okies of sorts.nothing great.used to love the ones sold at Chappan Bhog in Abu Dhabi...it's sad they still haven't opened a branch here in Doha.... :-/

The shops name is MADHUBAN - were we get bengali Sweets.

Its somewere near National Area. I have tried it, the rasbullas are so soft like sponges...

I can take u to tat place, but u need to buy for me 2 Kgs of Rasgullas then....:)
