Baby dies for 200 Rupees ..

This is really sad. A newborn baby girl has died at a government hospital in India's northern Punjab state after doctors removed her from an incubator as her parents were too poor to pay the 200 rupees (£2.30) needed to keep her inside it.

Sad story even for me. But I still don't understand why people who clearly do not have enough money to deal with complications that might arise during/after childbirth actually allow for a pregnancy.

Family is not about two people deciding it's time they weren't alone in the world.

Hardly surprising to see such callous attitude towards human life in a government hospital in India but extremely disturbing to read that nobody helped him out. 200 Rs is nothing and surely someone could have helped him.
