what about using ballon tyres on (road) how much km,s can thay work?? which companies ballon tyres are good? please tell me with prices.. i know the normal tyres are cheaper this these tyres on road just wanted to know :)
Majid, if you think that running a marathon on flip flops is okay or going into a shopping mall wearing speedos is okay then sure, use your balloon tires but just a word of caution, a car can be a double-edged sword.
one can't give kms balloon tyres will work however they work less than normal road tyres. i'v used MAXX, its not very expensive but good for the purpose i use it (sand dunes).
Anyways, i would suggest its better not to use it on roads as they could easily turnover your FJ..specially if speeded over roundabouts. most of the cruisers/patrols slipped are coz of baloon tyres. Anyways, decision is urs.

They are designed to give a large footprint on sand when deflated. Because of the aspect ratio, you will get sidewall flex under cornering, poor straight line traction due to the tread pattern, no water dispersal due to same.
Just because all your friends are fools doesn't mean you have to be too.
Majid....all the comments are for your safety. Nobody will recommend it for use on roads. Poeple here are using because of ignorance & poor implementation of the rules.
why are u saying like that all of my friends having ballon tyres lot cars in qatar have ballon tyres only i will kill myself anyways wronge place to question.
Those so called balloon tires are very dangerous on tarmac - they have huge sidewalls which create a lot of flex, this would surely affect control. Secondly the grip offered is lower than road tires - try braking hard with them. Finally, i'm not sure on the speed rating but i believe they are lower.
I'm surprised they are legal for road/tarmac usage - in the desert, it is another story

OK then, just make sure nobody else is involved when you kill yourself.
i know thanks but just asking..:)
Don't. They are not designed for road use and not safe.
