Banking in Qatar

Hi Everybody!

Just wanted to quickly share my experience in Banking here in Qatar. I just signed up with a really great bank, IBQ. The first couple of banks I met with werent as friendly and the customer service personnel were not as good in making me feel comfortable like the people at IBQ. Coming from the UK, I was un-easy with the banking procedures here in Qatar, but now im a little more at ease with this bank...the staff are fully fluent in english and the level of service was much better than the other two places i visited.

Anyway, Just wanted to share my experience,
Thanks!

e46M3, you didnt get my point...I don't feel that these guys are real....it sounds like a commercial by the bank itself...

Hi ExpatUK,

I am in the process taking a mortgage loan from IBQ and must agree with you in saying that the service I have received from the Bank has been excellent. I am also relatively new to Qatar and did not know what to expect when I contacted IBQ about the mortgage. But they were very helpful and I am extremely pleased with the service and professionalism they offer. Furthermore, the rates and terms of the loan are also very competitive to the market which was great.

On the whole it has been much easier and far less of a headache than I initially anticipated. Anyway, thought I would join you in sharing my experience as well.

Cheers,

Bob
