Bashar al-Assad for president ..of Pakistan!

Just stumbled across this article in Al-Jazeera english........Sounds interesting....doesn't it?

Can't help but wonder how my Pakistani brothers would react to this idea by one Mr. Robert Grenier? The first things that comes to mind is the word "soverignity" which has been stressed by many Pakistanis in recent past for various reasons like territorial violations, drone attacks, OBL huntdown etc.

But what becomes evident is that the CIA is treating Pakistan as if it's their Dear Uncle's Private barnyard which have been infested by rats' and it's as if they have a free hand!

.. so looks like it has now been settled for Bashar Assad Khan to take charge in Pakistan and then your guy in charge in Pakistan  can go and  try and get some peace and stability in Syria or create another afghanistan around there.

John Lalay - Dividing India must have been the best thing that happened to India or else India would have been blamed for the misdeeds of a few from the divided part or parts. I suppose India for its size and population is a far better and tolerant place without this guys from the divided parts.

@ edifis, fair enough & the article is a bit much I agree,my point to our friend isi here was that rather than bad mouthing you or anyone else that comments here,if it does make his blood boil so much,he ought to take it up with Al Jazeera!!! you,me or anyone else commenting here didn't write the article now did we?!...

Gadarene....IMHO this article by Grenier undermines the sovereignty of Pakistan. The man writes as though the Pak Government is run by Puppets whose strings are being pulled by the CIA from their HQ in the US!

PS: Although I don't like the infuriating tone of the article but it doesn't really bother me as I am not a Pakistani. But if I were a Pakistani it would make my blood boil really!
