Bavaria Suites

Anyone know anything about this development in West Bay? Where is it? Cost of apartment rental, facilities etc. I am looking to rent somewhere until my place in the Zigzag is finished (if it ever is). I have heard that Bavaria Suites are nice and the prices are reasonable. Sounds unlikely I know, but any info gratefully received.

no parking yet, u'll have to park in the street, can walk like 2 mins or something when its filled with cars.. also u should know there is no internet access in the rooms, currently only in the lobby and its very poor, and it was down yesterday evening :(

and one last thing, sometimes the hot water is not working, this is really annoying..

anyways, i've been living there for couple of weeks, and gonna spend a year or so there, i can say they have a good potential, just needs some time to get these small things done, and finish the rest of the facilities.. if you're planning to stay couple of months it wouldn't be a good option, if you're gonna spend more time there, its worth the waiting

For all the feedback. Its been really helpfull. I will go and look at Bavaria Suites today. It seems like it would suit me for the time being.

Forgot to ask though, is there any parking?

Hi, richard123

I am currently staying at bavaria and i must say that the savice does suck. but on the other hand i think the appartments are not bad, house keeping is twice a week, you get your appartment cleaned your bed done up with fresh new towels, all apps have plasma tv and you can pick about 2/3 British channels including BBC world news. At present there is no restuarant, gym, pool etc. but it is all under construction. I am staying at the upper floors with fantastic views of Doha and the sea. Prices starts from about 7000 for a studio to about 14-15000 for a 2bed. There are security guards 24hrs a day. I think that although the service sucks the benefits are greater. Post me a mail at QL if you do decide to move to Bavaria.

Good Luck

I guess I like The Pearl better than Zigzag but I think Zigzag will be well finished because a lot of what comes after it will be judged on the Zigzag. Also, I think the traffic situation will be better than the Pearl and finally, the flexibility I got in the financing was very attractive.

Am seriously considering moving into Bavarian Suites. I don't think the cost is too bad as it includes all utilities, daily cleaning, cable TV and internet and of course, the gymn and the pool. Also, I can walk to the office from there. Seems pretty good to me on paper but I haven't looked at it yet.

Congrats on the purchase of the Zig Zag, I brought a two bed this month. Why did you go for that over the Pearl. Just curious like.

Just called Bavaria Suites for prices:

1 bedroom - 10,500 riyals

2 bedroom - 14,750 riyals

Looks likes their bending you over just like all the other landlords.

Hi guys..

We are having about 3 suites from them and believe me, their services sucks.. as in, they cannot attend to your needs and when you ask the sales whatever, they will just said..yah..yah then blah blah and afterwards nothing well happen..

SERVICES is really poor.. and until now, they are not yet finished for their maintenance and etc..

Last I heard Bavaria suites will start full operations only when the work is completed. They qwnt for a soft launch and faced many problems.hence the delay.

Hi Richard, haven't seen you for a while : )

Bavarian Suites are those four twin blueish towers in West Bay. They opened one in March and I went to inquire about rental there … I'm pretty sure I've got somewhere some prices and details, if I find it I'll PM to you.
