Be careful in the coffee shop at the corniche

Hi all together,
Last thursday we went to the coffee shop at the corniche to have a coffe and shisha. Also we ordered something to eat.
First of all we had to wait for more than 20 minutes and 3 times asking to order our things. After that we was waiting again 45 minutes to get it.My husband and some of our friends was drunking a shisha, but how they can enjoy it without to get a new coal?
They was no chance.
But why I am telling you the Story?
When we was asking for the bill, we was really schocked!!!
We got a bill for 289 QR.
But our total amount was only 164QR!!!
To clear this thinks it cost us one hour more. After a lot of trouble we just pay the bill without SERVICECHARGE!!.
So if you planning to go in this Coffee shop, please check you bill careful otherwise you will lost a lot of money for nothing.

The service at red fort sheesha is bad and we have been over charged almost 3 times that is 3 times we noticed who knows how many times we didn't check it.And as per the coal the guy who puts it does it with so much attitude as if hes the manager there no hello no greeting just the coal with so much of anger.and small measely pieces which die out within 3-4 min of him leaving

then y pay the service charge if the place sucks..........

taking all this into consideration we shifted our club to the sheesha near the new Iranian souq....behind HSBC.it has better service and alot cheaper too.........

of course 20 minutes to wait for a food is okay, but not only for order it.and 45 min to get it.

How it comes that there are 3 waitress for around 10- 12 tables and i told them that we are ready to order personel(not like showing,I went to them and told him face to face) 3! times and I have still wait for 20 min.? And by the way, why 3 Person as to check the money, if somebody is paying? Normally you lern to count money in the school.

When he showed you the bill you should have punched him in the nose. If it was me i would first punched him second call his owner third the muncipality and get the closed.and i ill like u to go there again get their service and if this time the bill was over charged tell them wait i need to make a call.dail the authorities and in fear he will pay you back instead of takin it from u.

She's saying they had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to take their order and 45 minutes for the order to arrive.

That is bad.

has been to Ras Al Nas'aa twice for girls night out... and both times we were shocked at the service charges.

First time we went there, bill came to about 403QR, but the total bill was R513, thats more than 100QR in service charges. We couldn't quite work out how they got to that amount, if a service charge is between 15-17%... pure rip-off...

I generally tip if the service was good, so I think its a cheek that you get billed for a service charge if your service has been bad, and Ras Al Nas'aa, service is very, very bad....

But the food is good, however we do check our bill very carefully now, and we order all our courses together so we get them in good time....

BTW... went to Venice on Al Sadd lastnight... food was excellent, service was brilliant and bill was next to nothing...

Ras Al Nas'aa at the start of the corniche (the castle-like cafe/restaurant) because me and my friends had similarly bad experiences before with the same mistake of over-charging us as well.

I think she means the castle kind of one near Qatar Museum. There's something about these places at the corniche. The service at the Al Bandar group of restaurants is pretty bad too.

I guess lousy service, like ugly designer fashion, comes at a price!
