2    any advice on transport,is it worth buying a veichle soon as,and which is the best way to do this,4x4,saloon,motor bike, new old and how much would you recommend on spending?

thanks look forward too hearing from you..........davey

hey

as novita77 said yeh u will have to open an account once you get to doha.. it doesnt take long and not at all complicated will be done in no time..

and yah.. you DEFINTLY should get a car... no doubt about it.. walking does not exist in qatar.. there are no pedestrian streets or pavements that are big enoug for walking... and its too hot for a bike..

4x4 is the way to go... they're safer and stonger cars... and feel so much better to drive here esp since almost everyone drives a 4x4 here..

i work for QP too.. once u get here.. u can go on the QP internal site.. theres an online market where people who are leaving put up their cars for sale.. most are in excellent condition... and its safer to get it from someone in QP coz theyre mostly better insured...
