Its been almost 5 months since I've been searching for a job (IT). Would like to know which is the best job portal for job search of my kind in Qatar; although there aren't many IT companies here. :(
@Saeedkhan: I am currently on Bayt, Monster, naukri and Reed, and now also on Qatarconnex.. Did you have over 5+yrs of exp?? What domain are you working under in??
I think the main prob is that there isn't too much of an opportunity for hardcore networking professionals(which I am-software based)..They look too much into certifications( which is why I am gonna give one soon) :D
Thanks ace..Will look into those other than Monster gulf.. I am married and bound to live here for couple of years I think! :) It is indeed quite hard to sit at home for a postgrad :( !
Sorry to hear of your plight. If it is any consolation, I know of many in Qatar who are in the same boat. I would suggest shifting your focus to other markets like UAE, Oman, Kuwait, etc. Don't be off work for a long time as it will get more difficult to explain a hole in your resume.
Monster Gulf, Clarendon Parker Qatar, GulfConnexions could be some sites you may want to check out (Though i guess you may have already registered with them). Hang tight, it's always darkest before dawn.
