beware of fraud

Good morning QL friends, do you know fraudsters are spreading traps allover the world.. I have really shocked to hear and witness the person who lost about 5 lakhs , a sum of 35000 QR , in such a fraud .It happened in one of money transfer offices in Qatar where I am a staff. The victim receives a call from U.K. as the say, and informs that she has won lakhs of pounds as mobile lottery and to make confirm, they say the code no. in reverse of her Qtel sim card which is same for every sim cards. Unfortunately the poor lady beleived it is true and they also told her that she has to send a small amount by western union to a person in Pakisan for the 'document clearance' and to make the lottery delivery fast. and also told her to keep the information secret and if anybody from the exchange house ask her about the purpose, dont disclose , just say to them its for my personal use. Anyway , the poor lady sent money by WU to the mentioned person in Pakistan , five times , as they instructed 7000 qr each. At last she suspected and came with all her receipts .... But it was too late.. as all money were collected same time of its trasnaction , even before she give them the Money Trasnfer Controll Number which is mandatory fo collecting the fund in WU. Anyway we maid a complaint about it to the concerned authority of wu ... Eventhough any positive result hardly expected. I just sharing this information for all friends to take caution against such frauds.. thank you.

CK is right, our greediness takes us to such problem. Be careful don't even open those mail or messages. Some mails claims that it's from Microsoft, hotmail etc., they use big name and give mail from gmail.com, redifmail.com and so on. Just keep in mind nobody will give u money for nothing.

Are there still educated people who are believing in such frauds? It is her greed which led to such a situation. There are no such mobile lotteries in the world who will give money for nothing. I am receiving minimum 2-3 personal e-mails every day telling that I am the winner of x million dollars from that mobile lottery. This is happening for the last few years and I haven't even tried to open any of those e-mails.
