Bhutto died from bump to head.

The Pakistani Interior Ministry spokesman just announced that Bhutto heard gunshots, ducked down, hit her head on the sunroof apparently causing a fatal skull fracture. Raise your hand if you believe this theory.

there is not going to be any forensix report. The family didnt ask for an autopsy so no autopsy was done.

Iman you just post it incomplete information.

I rather wait for the forensic results of the bomb explosion and the causes for her death inside the car.

What I hate the most that represents their society lately is the lack of respect towards woman civil liberties, allowing the involvement of AL-qaida and her sworn political enemies, are just trash worms that need to be decimated..

This doesnt have any direct connection with the arabs, but the concept of religion is so dynamic that the pakis and arabs have the same religion, So any act of terror perpetrated by some knumbskull doesnt have to bring in religion and blame that when its a question of his personal feud and vendetta against humanity, so both the arabs and pakis have the same religion and thats what basically triggers the misconceptions about Islam and nobody begins to believe in faith as such, cuz of fundamentalists trying to wreak havoc.......But again not gong to the extent of stereotyping but this is what people start thinking.......

Does'nt anyone for once believe that she made the biggest blunder by getting her head out of the car. Rawalpindi has already had terror attacks in the past and she was not being careful. What a tragic loss.

U see when there is more terror its always in the name of religion Thats why innocent people get caught in this mess.....

And rest of you stop picking on Mir. Let him speak his heart out.

And coming back to the topic, whoever killed Bhutto did a wonderful job for the Government. He infact killed two birds with one stone. Took out Bhutto who would have a pain in the Government's @$$ and shifted the blame on the islamic fundamentalists. One thing is for sure the hatred of the people against the fundamentalists is going to increase, and from the outlook it looks as if the fundamentalists in Pakistan are going to get the axe in the elections.

Now this is what I call some planning.

Bhutto aide suggests cover-up

A top aide who helped bathe Benazir Bhutto's body after her death said the former Pakistani prime minister clearly had bullet wounds to the head, calling a lie the government's conclusion that a sunroof lever was involved.

Come on Guys, to bump her head casuing a fatal fracture, she has to be travelling at the speed of sound. This seems a very preposteorus conspiracy theory. Plus, did you notice the doctors who treated her changing their statements like Chameleons ???????????

good morning all, first they say it was bullets , the next day it was the bump, who knows wat they will say tomorrow.......dont wanna read or listen to the news just gonna check the weather report...:O)

my first thought was that they were under pressure to toe the line - I also thought that the sudden 'blame it on her bumping her head' was to assuage more bloodshed amid the possibility of a full scale Civil War.

So to say she only had herself to blame for sticking her neck out (sic!!!) seems somehow to skim over the fact that someone really DID blow themself up right next to her car and no-one will ever know the truth.

She was by no means perfect, but she WAS for a Democratic Pakistan.

By anonymous• 29 Dec 2007 01:02

I think the Pakistani Government is trying to stave off the blame by saying that 'Bhutto was killed when she tried to duck back into the vehicle, and the shock waves from the blast knocked her head into a lever attached to the sunroof, fracturing her skull.'

If she died of the bullet wound when she was hit while she was out of the vehicle, then questions would be raised about how security could allow an armed person to get so close to the car.

If she were inside the car when the bomb blasted, then questions would be raised about why the 'bomb proof vehicle' did not do its job.

By saying that she was partially outside the vehicle when the bomb blasted, they are putting the blame on Bhutto herself for not remaining inside the vehicle. This sentiment is also reflected in another of their statements wherein they say that Bhutto may have survived the assassination attempt had she been inside the car.

How convenient that the cause of death also implies that the victim was outside the vehicle when the bomb blast occurred. Do you still want to give the Government the benefit of the doubt?

Don't you think its strange that a Government would be so eager to release a statement on the cause of a person's death without a post mortem being conducted? And that too none other than the Interior Minister is willing to put his reputation on line by claiming to know the cause of death of a victim whos post mortem has not been conducted?

But then again, the moment Bhutto's family decided that a post mortem shouldn't be done, they gave away the possibility of the true cause of Bhutto's death coming to the open.

Considering that the Pakistani govt has come out with several contradictory theories in the past 24 hours, a healthy dose of skepticism is warranted. Why haven’t the doctors had a press conference yet?

It was probably an aneurysm. Just an incredible coincidence that there was a suicide blast, gunman on the back of the vehicle and horribly dangerous lever near her head.

iman it can happen. here is a little explanation from e medicine"".The primary injury occurs at the time of impact, either by a direct injury to the brain parenchyma or by an injury to the long white matter tracts through acceleration-deceleration forces. Direct injury to the brain parenchyma occurs as the brain is impacted on the bony protuberances of the calvaria or by penetration of the brain by bony fragments or a foreign body. in adults, in whom the brain is forced against the bony protuberances opposite the point of the impact, resulting in a countercoup injury. Intracranial hemorrhage may also result from shearing or laceration of vascular structures. Acceleration-deceleration forces cause shearing of the long white matter tracts, leading to axonal disruption and secondary cell death. ""

so theoritically its possible.

I think they really need to shut up until they have conclusive evidence. Not to be too gruesome, but if she did knock violently into the lever wouldn't her head have been stuck there? The people in the van should be able to clear it up if that is what really happened.

"Pakistan's interior ministry has said it has clear evidence al-Qaeda was behind the assassination.

It quoted intelligence intercepts in a briefing to reporters that followed a reported claim of responsibility by al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

It said Ms Bhutto had died of a fracture in her neck and had not been hit by either bullets or shrapnel, as reported earlier when a gunman attacked her car at an election rally in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
