the other thing is, take out the HF horn and check for dry joints on the crossover and/or sometimes the cable clip slides off. They could be fine!

TechnoQ has JBL spares or they can order them. Next time, don't use the treble equalizer. JBL speaker don't need that, unless you are deaf.
