Birthday cakes!

Hi there,
I am currently in the UK, but my Fiance is in Doha. He hasn't been there very long and althought I keep asking for it, I have not yet got an address from him for where to send things!
It is his birthday on sat, so probably not enough time to send now, does anyone know any cake shops that would deliver a cake to his house?
Or any other suggestions?!

We missed you at the Desert outing at the weekend. We had a good day ....only one Stuck in the sand and it was not us LOL... ended up taking the BBQ, it was fun. I hope I get to see you soon. Are you and Hubby doing anything for Thanksgiving?

I second Princess about Bateel. They have good cake as always :-).
Do you know where your fiance live? Make sure the address is not a PO BOX in post office, otherwise whatever you send won't be able to go inside. As Princess said ... best sending something through DHL.
Why not just order flowers from Interflora.. and send him a big bouquet of flowers or Baloons. You can order online and they deliver worldwide. Just make sure that you have his full work address. That is your best bet I think. Or youcould buy whatever gift (keep it small) and send by DHL UK to Doha door to door takes approximately 2 days. I have had lots of thing delivered from home.

Bateel Bakery is one of the best here and they would happily arrange to bake and deliver the B'day cake. I have used them 5 times and not disappointed yet. The only matter is how would you manage the payment? I will send you a number for Bateel
