I lost my mobile some where around Bombay Chowpatty.. Atleast that was were i was hanging around lastly at around 6:30 pm..
I dont mind loosing the phone.. But the contacts is the most dearest ones.. So now.. Am All at Square one.. having to buy a new Hala card and a Mobile phone.. I do have a Back up of my contacts.. But not the Updated ones.. Oh Gosh..How Painfull

I know how you feel, I lost mine while i was on my vacation last month, luckily i got all my contact no. written in my diary.
I don't remember the PUK No of the IMIE no.. and Shanawazt.. My Phone is not a Nokia N33. thanks for your help... Let me check with the Qtel office like you guys suggested...My No is a Prepaid No & is 3500923 Kind of a cool No too.
if u have the PUK number than when the sim card is operated, Q-TEL will know, and can even locate the exact location. if u still have the mobile technical information, ur mobile can be traced and located even with a different sim card inserted in it.
that's a peace of cake for telecommunication engineers at Q-TEL
just
1- contact them with cell coordinates and PUK for sim card
2- hope the thief does not shut down the mobile, and take it out of the country.

THE DISPLAY SCREEN SAID" DONT TOUCH MY CELL PHONE"
SO I LEFT IT THERE ... AND YEAH IT WAS NOKIA N33

if it's postpaid sim, they will really give you back your old number. but if its prepaid sim, i dont think they can provide the old number with QTEL. but based on my experience working with a Telecom, even if it's a prepaid or postpaid, we can give you your old number. we'll just have to upgrade the sim with it's new ICC ID number.
Appreciate it.. Sometimes.. Losing a mobile is so hearburning than losing money.
If you need your old number, just inquire about it in Qtel. I think you can retrieve your number but of course without the contacts, atleast those who knew your old number can still contact you.
As i inquire before, you just need the ID that you used when you purchased your old sim. Then you have to pay QR50 I think (just confirm with them) and a new simcard.
Anyway, just call 111 and they'll be giving you the details if you still want to have your old number back.
