If couples arnt willing to take their relationship to the next level after year 5 i think they deserve whats coming when it ends. Most couples linger in the relationship out of guilt if they break up or fear of not finding love again. If two people are so in love to actually stick around that long i think they need to up their game and get hitched or ditched.

its been two years now we dont see each other ,, we broke up in chat last 3 mos ago..and after that, he erased my photo on his Friendster account..he changed all his password, which i expected he will do that...maybe he's tired also in this kind of situation..tired of being miles away from each other...
i know time will heal us..the wound it created to us..but scars i think will remain..............
expect the unexpected. Just enjoy life and think possitive.
and shouldn't exist among spouses......sometime in the name of space.....the distance widen and broaden to separation....
Inspite of having 9 years of relationship & then to breakup maybe couldn't understand each other properly. Secondly to hold a good relationship it needs a lot of understanding,sacrifices and flexibitlity. Anyway may god help u to handle the situation
you can never predict what's gonna happen in a long distance relationship or in any other relationship for that matter,.. some long-distance relationships do succeed, and then there are some that don't...

since then we graduated highschool, we studied in different place..in short we are in long distance relatioship..we just meet,, 3 times in a year,,christmas, my birtday and his birthday..
and then again when we finish our college,, we work in different places,, i came here and he is in other country,,.
i cannot recall when is the last time we eat together and hang out in a mall, beach.....
just one day, we just decided to give each other space..
space that i dont know how long....
wow, age 18 - 25, lets say you are 23/24. so you was with someone from the age f 14/15???
and if its not you, then no worries, things change my dear ...
sometimes, things like that could happen and it's very difficult to understand why considering the time the relationship exists. In order to move on, you need someone who can help you to move on...someone is gone but somebody will come....don't close your heart...love again...wish you all the best

What kind of relationship? I've known people who've been together for over 15 years, then drifted apart. It could be due to apathy, change in interests, greed, money...etc
