smoke. simple, a tiger as a pet, due to the Cites agreement Qatar has signed, is not quite in the realms of legality. An alien, well, what to do if one of those falls from the sky.....yanni ;)

No. they will censor the media.

By Rizks• 28 Oct 2010 13:04

If this is True, then they should have published and Announced to all the PUBLIC coz it would not only be danger for the people stayn in tat area but also to the people visitng tat area...right ? :(

I work in Education City, and Qatar Foundation sent out a text that a tiger was in Education City this morning around 9:00am. People were advised to stay indoors. At 9:30am, a follow-up text was sent that the tiger was captured. It must have been the same 'escaped tiger'.

By ademsemir• 27 Oct 2010 16:58

It has not been caught. Its not even confirmed if there is a Tiger but police is still searching and they have not received a claim from an owner about an escaped tiger.

The report to the police was made by a worker from the Shammal area

I asked the tigress out for a date. I sent her a private message! We selected the back of an abandoned villa in UmmSalal as our secret rendezvous. There I disguised her as a Qatari lady. The two cubs I lodged in a pouch inside my cloak so that it looks like my paunch. Then off we went to the La Cigale and had dinner. We ordered and finished off whatever......in our plates in no time. But she was still hungry and wanted the waitress for dinner! I persuaded her to stop and promised her to give two fat lambs next week. Then I took her back to Umm Salal where she said she will surrender to the Lekhweia guys. She didn't want me to drop her near her villa gates so that there is no trouble for me. So I dropped her in an open field with her kids...said goodbye to her and went off! After that I don't know.

Some people have too much money and too little sense to know how to live responsibly. I was so angry when I found out my wife had to be escorted to her car because a tiger had been seen roaming on the street where she was. I don't find this a happy ending at all until all the idiots with cheetahs, lions and tigers are forced top get rid of their wild animals and I don't see that happening as long as there is such a thing as wasta in this country. :(
