Can I still go to GCC??

I worked in Dubai from 2007 until 200 when I left to go back to Philippines; however some pending dues were still on credit card in Dubai. Now there is a chance to go to Qatar and start working again, but is my credit card debt in UAE a problem for me to go to GCC again??

Please advice... thanks!!!

asadullah, If the bank has already filed a case for defaulting that persone will not be able to travel to any of the GCC countries. Immigration Systems are Centralized for GCC.

Yes they will track you down anywhere in the GCC. Dont even try to travel through UAE as they can literally offload you from the plane. Best not to come to GCC and stay where you are.

You don't have to worry unless you are in Interpol's wanted List for fraud.

For Doha will be no problem but for duabi.

my suggestion please contact with your bank in dubai and talk to them to reduce you r outstanding specially the interest they put on you and pay only the principal amount.they will try to get all but it depend on your nego.

as i did and clear every thing now no fear they are making it centralized for all the GCC but still it is not confirmed report for bank defaulters.

i hope you got your answer.

so you need to communicate with the bank authorities in Dubai and make compromises (if it can still be acceptable to them). MAke sure everything is in writing as landing in Qatar or any GCC countries with a pending legal case (in case the bank in Dubai already forwarded your paper to the police authorities), the case is very much easily verificable among the GCC countries. So make the right move before even considering to travel.
