Captaincy row may breaks German harmony
Germany's World Cup harmony was disrupted on Tuesday after skipper Philipp Lahm said he had no intention of willingly giving up the captain's armband when Michael Ballack returns to fitness.
Lahm's comments in an interview with the newspaper Bild, were published on Tuesday and team manager Oliver Bierhoff had to answer a series of questions about the issue - and the departure of Ballack from the team camp.
I think Ballack should retire from international games.
anyway Ballack is not even playing, then where is the question of such a row.
That would really create a tussle between the two great players...
Just sensationalist reporting. Ofcourse he wants to retain the captaincy - anyone would want to. The decision will be with the Coach..
If the reports in that newspaper turn out to be true, then that will severely affect the performance of Germany in tomorrow's match.
nomerci hope so
hms, "Bild" is a pretty crappy/sensationalist newspaper. don't take it too serious. Wait and see ,I would say.
Hms i hope so too INSHAALLAH the Germmans win!
we could quite understand what he feels, but when Ballack returns to fitness,it is more than natural he returns the captains armband.
Mr. M. u are the only guy who is responding for football thread, thanks again,
