Census in Doha
Good Morning and I hope everyone is doing well this Tuesday morning.
I have a question: does anyone know if Doha is conducting a census?
We had a guy stop by our villa and compound last night with a badge and tablet asking for our name, number of people residing in the villa, the gender of each resident, and their nationality. After he left, we noticed that he had written a number on our villa and all the other villas.
Has anyone else experienced this? I would be very interested and relieved for any information. Thank you for your time.
Odd that they are not collecting the usual data.
Highest qualification, annual salary, how long you have lived in Qatar etc etc etc
they do that to fined out about families who have children with special needs.
They keep doing this periodic checks.
anyway they came to my place too, fortunately at 4pm when my hubby was home, else i wouldnt have opened the door to them.
just asked about the occupants of the house and the names.
happy heart
drive safe because someone is waiting for you at home
could be checking how many families are staying in a villa/apartment??
Happened to me too but with out the number
Yes - going on over by us too - near the zoo. Name, nationality, how many kids and a great looking blue marker number on the house. :)
this one is for counting families who had people with special needs
We had a similar experience... but this time around he also asked us if we were keeping good health... kinda strange the health question huh?
Experienced this once before as well, but like you mentioned just name, number of occupants and nationality.
They are probably conducting a census... no need to worry.
We found that numnber in our villa, but nobody asking us anything yet, probably because most of the time nobody in the house.
