changing sponsorship

Is that right that under the Qatar Law, once you get your PR under the sponsorship of one Company, you can not change your sponsorship for at least 1 year?

Please help!

Your contact is not even worth of the paper it has been written. Either you stay or leave the country for 2 years.

As I understand, the employee has no any rights here.

So, guys, NEWCOMERS! Try to make sure somehow, that you are not going to be taken for the ride!!!!

thanks all

further clarification:

1. sl, let's say my contract is only for 1 year, so if the company doesn't want to renew it after 1 year, does it mean I will need to leave the country, even though the Company will give me NOC?

2. another question. What if Company doesn't carry out of obligations according to the contract? Does it give me rights to change the sponsorship before 1 year is over?

THANKS!!

NOC (Non Objection Certifate) is the release paper.

i think there are also cases that you'll be needing a release letter from your former employer if you want to transfer to a new company w/in the country...

U can not change for 2 years even though you have been given NOC. that's what My PR (Banduk) guy told me. :(
